BALTIMORE, MD — Chesapeake Systems (www.chesa.com) has promoted Peter Price to vice president, solutions. In this new role, he will provide insight and commitment to growth in solutions offerings to Chesapeake’s clients, as well as guide internal growth in processes, systems and people. Chesapeake specializes in producing high performance, scalable and reliable storage; media management; and workflow automation solutions.
An industry veteran with 20 years of media technology experience, Price began his career in music and audio technology. He eventually gravitated towards video post production and broadcast systems, with a focus on IT media systems integration. His career has included engagements with organizations such as Reuters News, CBS Sports Network, HBO, and YouTube, as well as with boutique post facilities in New York and Los Angeles. A lifelong artist and musician, Price’s creative background in video editing, still photography, cinematography and color grading has enabled him to facilitate creative clients’ needs, balancing both artistic and technical priorities.
