LONDON — One Of Us (www.weacceptyou.com) has appointed Benoit Leveau CTO. He comes to the production and VFX studio from Milk VFX, and has been in the industry for 18 years, originally starting out in his native France before moving to MPC. He then joined Prime Focus, integrating the company’s Vancouver and Mumbai pipelines with the one in London.
In 2013, Leveau joined Milk - its opening year - as head of pipeline, helping to build the department. He later lead the development of their cloud rendering system.
“As we enter our 16th year and approach 200 artists, Benoit will help us to extend and consolidate our technical infrastructure, and to strategize going forward,” says Rachael Penfold, One Of Us’s director. “As a design led visual effects company we depend on the efficient use of existing technology and the timely adoption of new technology, and Benoit's knowledge and experience will ensure that our artists' creativity has the technical foundation which allows it to flourish.”
