SAN JOSE, CA — On Wednesday at 9am(PST), Adobe will use FB Live to present the Adobe Stock Film Festival. The livestream, which will be hosted by Adobe’s Jason Levine, will introduce 13 short films that were made using Adobe Stock assets and Adobe Premiere Pro in just five production days. After the livestream, the shorts will live on at the Adobe Stock launchpage, as well as on YouTube.
The Adobe Stock Film Festival was inspired by the idea that “creativity is limitless”. Participants in this year’s event - the first of its kind - were faced with unprecedented challenges to create because of the pandemic. The purpose of the festival is to highlight the innovation, resourcefulness and originality that pour out of the creative community despite - or perhaps because of - these challenges.
In the selection of filmmakers for the festival, Adobe and 72andSunny aimed to showcase a wide range of styles. As a result, the Adobe Stock Film Festival features creations from filmmakers across the globe, including Japan, Croatia, Turkey, Israel, Canada and the US. These filmmakers were asked to create a story that they’ve always wanted to tell, using only Adobe Stock footage and imagery. They were given five days to complete the challenge.
