NEW YORK CITY — Ntropic (www.ntropic.com) has brought on senior producer Will Mok in a move to further strengthen the company’s color, VFX and design capabilities. Mok comes to Ntropic having worked at The Mill (New York and London), Gretel and Click 3X. He will collaborate with Ntropic’s New York and Los Angeles teams.
As a former member of Ntropic’s production team, Mok’s return marks a homecoming.
“Having worked in a variety of production roles, I was looking to lean a bit more into the color side of post production while still staying connected to the VFX work and clients,” he says. “Coming back just felt like a perfect fit for my needs. I have deep relationships with so many people at Ntropic, like creative directors Ryan Duggan and Aaron Vasquez, that it was like coming home. Also, I heard about (colorist) Ayumi Ashley’s great reputation and jumped at the chance to work with her.”
Over the course of his career, Mok has held senior production roles at The Mill, Gretel and Click 3X. At Ntropic, he will be balancing the artistry of each project against the needs of the client, giving creatives the ability to produce more beautiful and impactful work. His addition is the latest in a series of major announcements for Ntropic’s color department.
“2018 marked a great year with the launch of Ntropic NY's color department and we wanted to support that growth,” explains executive producer Helena Lee. “Will's addition is sure to build on our momentum, offering the full gamut of production and post production services to our top-tier clients.”
