NEW YORK CITY — Editor Jessica Rosa has joined the roster of New York and LA-based creative editorial boutique Northern Lights (https://nledit.com). Her experience spans trailers, promos, launch campaigns, Web content assignments and commercials. Rosa comes to Northern Lights from HBO, where she developed and edited work forGame of Thrones,
True Detective,
Big Little Lies and
Westworld. Prior to HBO, she cut at Ultrabland.
Rosa’s love for editing started with Cinema Paradiso. "The story, the characters, the score…perfection. When the main character receives an edit of all the censored film kisses at the end of the movie, it showed me the power of this craft. It still gives me goosebumps."
Originally from Puerto Rico, Rosa’s career has taken her from New York to LA and back, starting at Guede Films, with jobs at Mojo, Motive Creative, Mob Scene, Goldcrest Films, Showtime, Ultrabland and HBO. Her diverse client list includes HBO, Cinemax, CNN, Paramount, Nickelodeon, Sony, Colgate, Budweiser, and AT&T.
