LOS ANGELES — Creative production company Hecho Studios (www.hechostudios.com) has entered into a strategic partnership with Lime Studios (https://limestudios.tv), a full-service audio post facility that specializes in the recording, editing, mixing and sound design. As a result of the partnership, Lime will serve as the exclusive partner on all post audio work for Hecho Studios and its clients’ projects.
“Hecho Studios strives to provide access to the best talent in the industry,” says Tom Dunlap, chief content officer at Hecho Studios. “With audio being such an integral and complex part of the production process, we knew that for this aspect of our business we needed to partner with a company that has a strong creative reputation and access to exceptional talent. This partnership allows us to leverage Lime’s best-in-class talent with the convenience of on-site, state-of-the-art audio bays.”
Lime will provide full-time engineer, production and client service staff on-site each day, establishing a more streamlined project workflow for Hecho’s production teams and clients.
“This partnership allows our two companies to form a new creative economy,” says Lime Studios’ owner Bruce Horwitz. “Until today, audio post production occurred either in independent studios, like Lime, or in in-house bays installed in advertising agencies. Hecho Studios built such beautiful and well-equipped rooms, joining forces couldn’t have been more seamless.”
“Unlike the other production facets of our company, starting an audio practice proved to be a challenging undertaking, from the technology to the acoustics and the talent,” notes Dunlap. “Lime quickly upped our game and we’re happy to have them working alongside us as partners.”
Lime staff will have the ability to complete projects in the two audio bays at Hecho Studios, as well as in the nine bays at Lime’s Santa Monica office.
