NEW YORK CITY — Video production studio CVLT (pronounced ‘Cult’), with locations in New York and Los Angeles, has hired Katya Pavlova as head of post production. She spent six years at The Mill, where she produced projects such as David Bowie's Life on Mars music video remake and Steven Klein’s AR experience for W Magazine’s cover, featuring an interactive 3D portrait of Katy Perry. She will focus on growing the studio’s (www.cvltproduction.com) post production operation and developing new partnerships.
“We’re thrilled to have Katya onboard here at CVLT,” says CVLT & Urban Studio founders Alberto Ruiz and Dennis Cusack. “Her valuable experience in the post production business is a huge asset to our continued success in the advertising world."
“It’s a unique time to join CVLT,” Pavlova adds, “with the industry steering towards direct-to-brand relationships. I look forward to bringing new projects to life together with our talented team.”
Addition credits while at The Mill include work for Netflix, Facebook, Ralph Lauren, Jimmy Choo and Vogue.
