BOSTON — Digital experience agency Inphantry (www.inphantry.com) has promoted Regi Jacob to creative director. He held the position of associate creative director since 2017. While there, Jacob has worked on strategic campaigns and product launches for a broad range of clients, including Puma and Toyota.
“Regi is someone who can join a company and immediately establish a presence,” says Inphantry co-founder Kevin Lee. “He's a genuine hard worker who doesn't settle for second, and he wears his heart on his sleeve, which is great for a small team like ours because his passion is felt.”
“Inphantry is a passionate place that values its staff and encourages us to experiment and take risks,” adds Jacob. “I feel fortunate to be here. I get to collaborate with so many smart and talented people every day — and create experiences that are pushing the boundaries of how brands engage consumers. I'm excited to see where 2019 takes us.”
Jacob’s background spans interactive, advertising and entertainment. After starting his career as a copywriter, he earned his MBA from Georgetown University and quickly made his mark in the world of video games and lifestyle brands at MXM Social, Bethesda Softworks and AKQA.
He has been a part of several iconic video game franchises, including Call of Duty, Fallout and Dishonored. He then extended his experience into the Boston advertising scene, working as a creative director, copywriter and strategist at agencies Beam Interactive, Almighty, George P. Johnson and Allen & Gerritsen. Notable clients during this period included IBM, Mini, New Balance, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
