NEW YORK CITY — Northern Lights (https://nledit.com) — with locations in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco — has signed editor Stephen Berger for East Coast representation. His experience spans commercials, films, brand content and music videos.
Berger comes to Northern Lights following a two-year stint at Cosmo Street and a roster position at Cut and Run. Some of his brand work includes projects for Xbox, Samsung, Miller, Lincoln, BMW, Nat Geo, Starbucks, Intel, Sony, Disney and Verizon. He has also worked with artists that include Ludacris, Bob Dylan, Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Kanye West. His work as an editor Logorama helped it earn an Oscar for Best Short Film.
“I was born and raised in New York City, and since moving to LA, I have always loved coming back, working and seeing friends here,” he says. “I’m thrilled to be partnering with the fantastic crew at Northern Lights for New York City representation.”
“I met Stephen when he cut a multi-spot Amazon project for us out of our LA studios,” recalls Northern Lights EP, Robin Hall. “I was struck not only by his creative vision, but also by his sense of humor, work ethic and taste in music. I’m really thrilled we’re able to continuing working together.”
Berger most recently cut Amazon’s back-to-school campaign, a California Milk Board campaign out of Deutsch with Terri Timely directing, and two music videos for the band The National, directed by Mike Mills.
