LONDON — Colorist Jason Wallis has returned home to Electric Theatre Collective’s London studio after two years at the company’s Los Angeles office. Wallis played a key role in driving the LA studio’s color team, and worked on projects such as Lil Nas X’s hit video Old Town Road, Levi’s
Use Your Vote, and Vince Staples music video

“I’m so happy to be rejoining to the London team,” says Wallis. “I’ve had an incredible time in LA, working on projects that have been some of the highlights of my career, but it’s great to be back in my hometown with such a strong department to be a part of.”
Wallis returned to London in June.
In related news, the London studio recently promoted Ruth Wardell to colorist. Her contributions can be seen on work for Prada, Dylan Cartlidge’s music video Monsters Under the Bed and numerous videos for Grime star, Giggs, including 187. She also worked on Demi Lovato’s Don’t Go Breaking My Heart promo.
New to Electric is Andi Haw-Shuan Chu, who has previously worked at Lipsync and Absolute Post. Chu joins Connor Coolbear as color assistant in London.
