LONDON — Cinelab London (www.cinelab.co.uk), which provides a range of processing and digital restoration services, has hired Cherri Arpino as head of production at their Slough-based film facility. Arpino spent nearly 13 years working with global creative and technology content creators and distribution companies. Prior to joining Cinelab London, she was dailies manager at Co3 London for two years. Before that, she held the title of head of dailies and senior rushes producer at Technicolor for 10 years.
“Cinelab London have been on my radar for a while,” she says. “This position is an incredibly exciting one. Those who had built careers working with celluloid film (including myself) had not long ago thought the medium may become a rare antique. However, Cinelab London have been ahead of the curve and carving a new path for film’s resurgence, and I couldn’t wait to be a part of the team.”
“Cherri’s winning attitude and personality are huge assets that will complement and enhance Cinelab London’s ability to provide excellent technical and creative services to all clients,” adds Roger Harlow, sales director at Cinelab London. “She has a proven record of building long term business relationships with clients and key industry luminaries and in line with Cinelab London’s expansion, her organisational skills and being a strong team player make her the ideal film specialist to join the family.”
