Amanda Fink Mandell developing partnerships at Sonic Union

NEW YORK CITY — Audio studio Sonic Union (www.sonicunion.com) has added Amanda Fink Mandell as executive producer, partnerships. She will work across Sonic Union’s Union Square and Bryant Park locations, and help to foster and nurture both present and future client partnerships.

Mandell has a history of success with strategic business development in the music and advertising industries, and will act as a driving force to bring about creative sound opportunities within and outside of the traditional advertising world. She comes to Sonic Union after her most recent post as executive producer at Mophonics.

“The majority of our projects are often in conjunction with other creative sources and we expect that they always will be,” says Sonic Union founder Adam Barone. “And yet we’ve found ourselves seeing a lot of opportunity for us to start with the creative aspect in several instances and seamlessly connect to that our more traditional audio post work.”

“Sonic Union is such a well-known name on the East Coast and continues to cultivate a creative and fun environment for clients, engineers and composers all while staying at the forefront of innovation in post production sound work,” adds Mandell. “I’m excited to further expand into longer form and direct-to-brand opportunities. I have such a passion for, and get such enjoyment from, connecting people with mutually desired objectives on the right project, then seeing the magic happen.”

Mandell is known for producing a star-studded, multi-singer cover of the Les Miserables power ballad “I Dreamed a Dream” for the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival’s spot Dream, which earned a Gold Cannes Lion for Music. Her expertise across marketing and sales, music supervision and producing original music composition will expand Sonic Union’s continually growing scope of immersive/creative sound expertise and client base.
