LONDON — Stitch London (http://stitchediting.tv) welcomes Adriana Legay to their family of editors. She is known in the beauty world, having regularly worked with major brands that including Dior, YSL, Dolce Gabbana and Givenchy.
Legay says she knew from a young age that she wanted to be an editor, and this was confirmed when she was 14 years old and saw Jean Baptiste Mondino working on a Vanessa Paradis music video. Since then, she wanted to be part of that world.
“I spent a year studying cinematography at ESRA in Paris, where I started training on Avid, between Avid and me, it was love at first sight,” she recalls. “I was lucky that after my training, I began working as an editor and quickly started cutting music videos.”
Legay’s editing style is inspired by her love of dance. “I am a dancer, more a hip hop dancer, but I try to dance every day. Music and dance are my passions. I edit like I dance - both have a rhythm and convey emotion through storytelling. In choreography, you have to take the public with you and the same goes for storytelling.”
Additional commercial credits include ads for Diesel, Orange, Apple, Dolce & Gabbana and Burger King.
