SEATTLE — Luma Touch (www.lumatouch.com), the developer of video editing and effects products for iOS and Windows platforms, has entered into a partnership with Gnarbox (www.gnarbox.com), the creator of rugged wireless devices for backup and sharing media. The pair have been working together to develop a custom integrated workflow for LumaFusion, the mobile video editing app.
With the new integration, LumaFusion editors who have large media files will be able to wirelessly preview Gnarbox footage directly from within LumaFusion, and selectively import media to the application’s timeline. The custom integration significantly elevates the ability to editing long- and short-form content on mobile devices.
The development teams at Luma Touch and Gnarbox have worked closely to eliminate the limitations inherent to mobile editing, including limited storage and challenging media management. Gnarbox workflow integration is included in the newest update to LumaFusion - Version 1.6 - which is now available from the Apple App Store.
LumaFusion’s features as an editing app include the ability to work with multiple video and audio tracks, and the ability to perform insert- and overwrite-style edits. Multiple layers of realtime effects can be added to projects with keyframing. The app also offers color correction capabilities, multi-layer titling and live audio mixing capabilities. LumaFusion supports both landscape and portrait-oriented video, and multiple frame rates, including 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94 and 60fps. Resolutions up to 4K are supported as well.
LumaFusion with Gnarbox integration is available immediately and is free to existing customers upgrading to Version 1.6 who have a Gnarbox wirelessly connected. For new customers, LumaFusion is available for download from the Apple App Store for $19.99.
