LOS ANGELES — VFX boutique Jogger (http://joggerstudios.com) has added Diana Cheng as head of production for the company’s Western offices. Jogger has offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Austin, TX. In addition to VFX, the company offers color grading, finishing, animation and motion graphics services for work that includes advertising, film, music videos and innovative content.
Cheng joins the studio with over a decade of visual effects expertise. Her credits include producing VFX for Nike’s Equality, directed by Melina Matsoukas, and Vapor Trail, directed by Mark Zibert, both for Wieden & Kennedy. She also worked on Samsung’s very first Super Bowl spot, Thing Called Love, directed by Bobby Farrelly, and for Audi’s Force of Nature.
“Making people’s lives easier throughout complicated productions – it’s what we strive for every day,” says Cheng, “so when I met everyone at Jogger, there was an immediate sense of being in this together, in this goal of helping our clients make beautiful images and interesting narratives. It’s an amazing team.”
Cheng’s depth of experience includes working on-location and in the studio with teams made up of compositing, CG, animation, editorial, motion graphics, and design artists. In nearly eight years as senior producer at The Mission, her clients included 20th Century Fox, Leo Burnett, Tool of North America, ESPN, Paramount, Wieden+Kennedy, TeamOne, Venables Bell & Partners, 72andSunny, McGarryBowen, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, BBDO and BBH. She also enjoyed a five-year tenure at Asylum, where she worked with director David Fincher.
