NEW YORK CITY — Colorist Vincent Taylor has joined Chimney (www.chimneygroup.com) in New York City, coming to the studio from MPC Shanghai. Chimney has 14 offices in nine countries. Taylor brings years of color grading and cinematography experience.
Prior to joining the world of color, Taylor was an award-winning cinematographer, who received 12 awards from the Australian Cinematographers Society. This background turned out to be an excellent foundation for understanding lighting and color. He is known for his distinct ability to translate a client’s needs into a colorful and cinematic aesthetic.
In Shanghai, Taylor was called on by Airbnb China to set the look for their first ever broadcast campaign. Brands like Coca-Cola, Porsche, Mercedes, New Balance, Volkswagen, BMW, Nike and L’Oreal have called on his talent for their long and short-form content. Since his relocation to New York, Taylor has worked on major brand projects, including those for MGM, Gillette, Suntrust, The Home Depot, Hershey, Cadillac, Bombay and Spindrift.
