“I’m thrilled about the future of this partnership,” states Ferguson. “Our growing roster of directors will be seriously poised for bigger and better opportunities.”
“When we saw the talent at Bodega, combining forces just made sense,” adds Tauscher. “Bodega’s all-in-one offering is the future of our industry and now that they’ve expanded to Los Angeles, I’m incredibly excited to be a part of it."
The combined roster of talent will include Sophia Banks, Lesley Chilcott, Lindsay Daniels, Haley Geffen, Debra Granik, Mark Littman, Ben Orisich, Kevin Osgood, Adam Reid, and Mark Rosenberg, as well as the entire Bodega Animation roster.
Bodega was founded in 2009. The company’s integrated production approach has led to the creation of award winning commercials, brand content, show opens, network promos, films and digital media for all viewing platforms. EP/partner Clint Goldman joined in 2011 when the company acquired his San Francisco-based commercial production company. In 2017, Bodgea Animation was launched under the leadership of EP Bill Hewes.
“This is the right time, right place, and Erin and Taylor are the right, experienced partners for us to take the next step with”, says Goldman. “We provide extraordinary creative, production and post services, while offering our artists a home where their vision will be fully supported by our team.”
Tauscher got her start at MTV News and Specials in New York City, and her passion for news led to an associate producer job at NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. She relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a freelance production career and has traveled the world producing campaigns for Nike, Coca-Cola, Adidas, Merrill Lynch and Ford. She is a member of the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences, and Women in Film.
After graduating from USC, Ferguson moved to Boston and discovered a thriving advertising industry and a newfound love of production. She returned to Los Angeles and spent several years in television, working on sitcoms for Carsey-Warner and NBC before she joined Kinka Usher as executive producer at the inception of House of Usher Films. Tauscher and Ferguson founded Splendid & Co. in 2002.
