PORT MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA — Blue Post (www.bluepost.com.au) has appointed Dave Hollingsworth director of post production. He spent 14 years working overseas with directors such as Peter Jackson, Guillermo Del Toro, Steven Spielberg, Taika Waititi and Neill Blomkamp, but now returns to Australia. In his new role, he will be responsible for the development and deployment of all technical and creative services provided by Blue Post.
The studio is a full service TV and film picture finishing company with offices in Port Melbourne and Fox Studios in Sydney. They provide dailies (on-set and near-set), final conform, color, online, titles, VFX and mastering services, along with edit room and equipment rental.
Blue Post will draw on Hollingsworth’s 25 years of experience as an executive level post and VFX manager, as well as his expertise as a supervising colorist. His career includes time at Park Road Post Production, where he was part of the team that designed, built and implemented the High Frame Rate 3D pipeline for The Hobbit.
