SANTA MONICA/NEW YORK — Arcade (www.arcadeedit.com) editor Greg Scruton and Timber’s team of visual effects artists recently joined forces to post Kendrick Lamar’s new music video, Humble. Scruton’s carefully planned edit paves a rhythmic flow that reflects the nuances of the song.
The video was produced by Freenjoy and directed by Dave Meyers. Scruton was assisted on the edit by Ryan Andrus. The project was cut using an Avid Media Composer running Version 8.4.5 software.
Timber’s (www.timber.net) Autodesk Flame artists included Brian Shneider, Todd Mesher, Chris DeCristo and Chris Hommel. Brandon Harden assisted. Jason Forster, Michael Loney and Geronimo Moralez handled compositing and Hilery Johnson, Brandon Harden and Austin Lewis were rotoscope artists.
Jamie O’Bradovich at Co3 NY colored the project.
