MINNEAPOLIS — Gasket Studios (gasket.tv) recently created a package of humorous :05 spots for Old El Paso. The “Anything Goes In” commercials feature Old El Paso’s taco shells and bowls, which are given playful personalities through animated eyes and mouths. In each brief video, the shells trade light-hearted dialogue.
According to Gasket Studios’ Jim Martin, the studio shot the food elements using a Sony F5 camera with a 32-100mm lens. The eyes and mouths were added in post, using a combination of Autodesk’s Flame and Maya. The team had just a few weeks to create the package, which includes Showboat, Rivalry, Nostalgia and Gaga.
