LOS ANGELES — Mandt VR (mandtvr.com), the LA-based production studio specializing in 360 degree/virtual reality content, has appointed filmmaker Bradley Scott head of production. He will oversee the development and creation of immersive content, and brings with him nearly a decade of experience in television production.
Scott previously served as a producer at Mandt Bros, working on several hit television programs, including Top Gear and Ice Road Truckers. He has been instrumental in the fruition of many Mandt VR projects, including 360-degree video experiences involving Barstool Sports and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Scott’s credits also include the adventure programs Swamp People, Wicked Tuna and Finding Bigfoot.
“Having worked with Bradley previously at Mandt Bros. Productions, I knew his creativity and leadership skills would position him ideally for this new role,” says Neil Mandt, founder and chief executive officer of Mandt VR. “Though serialized VR content is still in its infancy, I believe Bradley’s proven track record and unique storytelling ability will encourage mainstream adoption of immersive content consumption via Mandt VR’s diverse slate of shows and experiences.”
