CULVER CITY, CA — Supervising sound editor/sound designer George H. Anderson has joined Sony Pictures Post Production Services (www.sonypictures.com). Anderson brings a deep and varied resume in sound with more than 75 credits in film and television. Some of his recent projects at Sony Pictures include Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping,
Pee-wee’s Big Holiday and
Trainwreck.
Anderson has worked as an independent supervising sound editor and sound designer for much of his career. Notable credits include We’re the Millers, Bridesmaids, Superbad, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Groundhog Day, Rudy and Stepbrothers. He is excited to find a home at Sony Pictures.

Anderson began his career as an assistant picture editor in commercials in 1979. He later transitioned to sound and got his first opportunity to work as a sound editor on a feature on the Mel Brooks film History of the World, Part One. He earned his first credit as a supervisor on the television series Crime Story and won MPSE Golden Reel awards for his work on Predator and Die Hard.
