NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES — This May, galleries in Los Angeles and New York will host art shows displaying work created by pros throughout the post industry in their free time. Curated and presented by VFX studio The Molecule, “The Art of Post: Creativity After Delivery” will showcase the artistic talents of the diverse group of individuals who make up the post production community. The exhibits will include art created by producers, editors, sound engineers, colorists and VFX artists.
“The post community is full of painters, photographers, sculptors and even woodworkers,” says Lauren F. Ellis, The Art of Post’s co-creator and a producer at The Molecule (http://themolecule.com). “We’re hosting a night to celebrate the art that happens after we head home from our day jobs.”
The Los Angeles exhibit will be held on the evening of May 12th at PYO Gallery LA. The New York exhibit will take place the evening of May 13th at White Space Chelsea.
