NEW YORK — Music production studio Figure & Groove has added Kio Novina to its team as VP, creative sync licensing via its LA office. Novina brings a wealth of experience from such libraries as Killer Tracks, Warner/Chappell and Elias Arts, where she hand selected music used in national TV campaigns for Apple, AT&T, Audi, Remy Martin and others. She has also collaborated on a long list of film/TV/trailer credits and gained extensive knowledge through her contributions to the launch and global expansion of iTunes Radio.
Prior to her work in creative licensing, Novina was a longtime concert agent and manager for artists such as Dandy Warhols, The Crystal Method and Tenacious D. She toured the world with Green Day. In her new role she will help Figure & Groove expand the traditional library transaction into a more customized and personal experience for each client and project.
