BERLIN, GERMANY — Fayteq AG (www.fayteq.com) has released an update to its FayIn plug-in for Adobe After Effects. Version 2.3 of the easy to use camera-tracking and matchmoving tool marks the fourth update for the young plug-in.
Users can now choose between a convenient Beginner Mode or an advanced Expert Mode. Beginners start with step-by-step instructions on how to operate the plug-in and integrate inserts in their videos fast and easily. Advanced users can switch on Expert Mode for the full range of tools and functions to fine tune their track and insert.
FayIn 2.3 comes with enhanced support of After Effects’ timing properties, allowing artists to set individual in and out points, define layer offsets and set up individual composition start frames. Editors will appreciate the enhanced compatibility with Adobe Premiere. They can cut their clips in Premiere and easily use Adobe’s dynamic link export to switch to After Effects for the tracking with FayIn afterwards.
All current FayIn users can update to the latest version for free. The company has a video highlighting all of the new features included in the update (www.fayteq.com/fayin). Users can now choose between four licensing options: three temporary licenses for 6, 12 or 24 months as well as a one perpetual version. The temporary licenses include all version updates and upgrades and start at $11 per month. The perpetual license can be purchased for $332.94.
