CULVER CITY, CA — The Creative Storage Conference (www.creativestorage.org/2016Register.htm)) will be held on June 23rd at the DoubleTree Hotel West Los Angeles in Culver City, CA. At 10:30am on that date, the conference will present a “Collaboration in the Clouds” session that looks at the use of non-local shared storage in modern professional media and entertainment workflows.
The “Storing and Delivering Content Where It Is Needed” session will look at the tools being used today that let content distributors quickly meet the demand for entertainment content around the globe. It will also look at the role of cloud storage in various aspects of media and entertainment, and how will high resolution content is being moved between data centers.
Jean Bozman of Hurwitz & Associates will moderate the session. The list of participants will include Joe Arnold of SwiftStack, Michelle Munson of Aspera, Molly Rector of DDN, Henry Zhang of Amazon Web Services, Tim Stutt of Atimba, and Ludovic Francois of MSolution.IO.
Early conference registration is open until June 19th. This marks the tenth year of the annual Creative Storage Conference. Its exhibits bring together the vendors, end users, researchers and visionaries who are focused on the growing storage demands of HD, UltraHD, 4K and HDR film production.
