COSTA MESA, CA — Santa Monica-based audio post facility Tono Studios (www.tonostudios.com) has plans to open a second studio in Costa Mesa in January 2016. The company has been in business for eight years, offering commercial recording and voiceover services via the Santa Monica location. The new Orange County facility — Tono-Cosa Mesa — will be located at 3151 Airway Avenue, Suite F120, in Costa Mesa.
According to studio owner Raquel Cueto, clients in Orange County will now have the convenience of being able to work at the Costa Mesa facility while having all the advantages from the Santa Monica headquarters. Clients that begin their projects at the Santa Monica facility can opt to finish at the Costa Mesa facility, or vice-versa. For example, voiceovers can be recorded at the Santa Monica facility and finalized in the mix in Costa Mesa.
Tono-Cosa Mesa will offers all the services Tono currently provides. The studio will be equipped with Avid ProTools and the latest ISDN and FTP services. In addition, the studio’s engineers are bilingual.
