MIAMI — Red Digital Cinema will host a grand opening event on June 13th to commemorate the opening of its new retail store in Miami, FL. Located in the heart of the Wynwood Art District, which is home to over 70 collections, museums, and galleries, the newly designed space will showcase the latest Red camera technology and serve as a gallery for work shot on Red.
The grand opening is scheduled during the monthly Art Walk celebration in Wynwood, and will provide visitors with the opportunity to interact the latest Red innovations as well as to leave their mark on Red’s new location. Attendees will be encouraged to help decorate the police car in the center of the showroom floor, providing the inspiration for a local artist to turn the car into a finished work of art that will be used for onsite customer demonstrations.
“The Wynwood Art District is the ideal location for our newest Red store,” says Red Digital Cinema president, Jarred Land. “The vibe and art within that area gets the creative juices flowing for everyone – including the local current and future Red shooters. In addition, the location not only allows us to service shooters in the Miami-area, but provides easier Red access to all of the Southeastern US plus Latin America.”
