NEW YORK — Veteran production executive Danny Rosenbloom and former creative director for The Mill and Mill+ New York, Yann Mabille, have joined forces to launch a new interdisciplinary director's group, Interstate (http://blvd-interstate.com). The company was conceived to serve as an agile US partner to Blvd, the Montreal-based integrated production company. As such, Interstate will leverage Blvd’s production, VFX and post powers while empowering directors and clients to pursue creative solutions unencumbered by the overhead costs associated with large-scale operations. Work will span commercials, music videos and branded content, as well as interactive, immersive and experiential projects.
Rosenbloom will serve as managing director, while Mabille will act as creative director. Interstate has also secured the right to represent award-winning director Adam Levite worldwide for commercials, music videos and branded content.

"Interstate is designed to address the ever-tightening demands of modern production, while still offering unlimited creative freedom and craftsmanship," says Rosenbloom. "Our model is to stay slim and focused. With our directors in New York and our backbone in Montreal, we can maintain a boutique culture with a selective quality unmatched in the industry."
Rosenbloom’s 20-plus years includes service as a member of the AICP trade association's East Coast Board of Directors, National Labor Board and the National Digital Board of Directors (where he is also a founding member). Most recently the managing director for commercials for creative strategic design agency Eyeball, he spent the previous seven years as partner and executive producer of Brand New School, where he ran the New York office and oversaw the company's global operations. His career also includes time with Psyop.
Mabille experience in the VFX, gaming and advertising industries has been earned in France, London and New York. For the past 15 years, his specific roles with The Mill in New York were creative director, director at Mill+, VFX supervisor and joint head of 3D.
