HOLLYWOOD — Creative editorial company Beast TV (www.beast.tv) — with offices Santa Monica, New York, Austin, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta and San Francisco — has acquired Go Robot, an editorial boutique based in New York City.
The Go Robot staff will join the team at Beast, a Deluxe Entertainment Services company. This includes Go Robot co-founders Adam Liebowitz and Alisa Sheinberg, who will now serve as Beast’s senior editor and managing director respectively. The operation will continue to run from its current facility on 22nd Street in Manhattan, just a few blocks from Beast’s existing New York office.
“We’ve had a tremendous run, but when presented with an amazing opportunity to scale up our services and build a new super team of talent, we couldn’t resist,” says Liebowitz. “Beast has an extraordinary roster and our work nicely complements theirs. Also, Beast’s nationwide network of boutiques will help us extend the markets that we’re able to service, so our collective clients can enjoy stronger offerings from all sides.”
“We already have such a rich talent pool in New York, and adding Go Robot!’s editors and finishing artists into the mix not only amps up Beast’s capabilities, but will help make us more creatively resonant in the community,” adds Igor Kovalik, editor and co-founder of Beast.
The merger rounds out Beast’s post production workflow with the addition of new motion graphics and finishing capabilities. Recent Go Robot! work includes commercials for Starbucks, NASCAR, Synchrony Financial and AT&T.
