According to the company, these offerings broaden the power of media asset management for small, medium and large-scale enterprises, while remaining easy-to-use and competitively-priced. Square Box will also launch CatDV Professional Services, a brand new operation enabling customers to leverage workflow performance from their CatDV systems and empowering content owners to repurpose and monetize their assets with even greater ease.
According to Square Box, new CatDV Professional Services provide flexible, tailored services to optimize workflow automation in larger-scale deployments. Frequently provided services are now also packaged into cost-effective, downloadable ‘products’, including: popular transcodes (using CatDV Worker and third-party tools), content distribution (to YouTube, etc), system set-up, Final Cut Server migration and a wide range of systems integration support.
In addition, CatDV Advanced Premiere Panel directly within Adobe Premiere Pro CC delivers a seamless MAM experience for Adobe artists, enabling them to harness CatDV’s search, preview, tracking and media management features. CatDV for Adobe Anywhere also adds the fucntionality of CatDV media management to Adobe Anywhere real-time collaborative platform, so that media can be shared and managed by Anywhere productions from within CatDV as well as via Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
CatDV Web 2 has already taken CatDV’s original Web Client to a new level in assisting content creators and marketers to find and reuse media assets via a clean, modern and simple browser interface. Web 2.1 delivers more MAM power, with user interface configuration, clip collections, filters, expiring Web links and approval workflows, plus the introduction of flexible licensing options.
CatDV has also expanded the technology integrations that are fundamental to effective media asset management. Along with the CatDV Advanced Panel for Adobe, the latest third-party integrations include YouTube, Vimeo, Aspera and Autodesk Smoke, plus plug-ins for Xendata and GB Labs archive systems, which streamline the communication and updating of assets in archival workflows.
