LONDON — Mixed media production company 1stAveMachine (http://1stavemachine.com), which has offices in Brooklyn, NY, and Santa Monica, CA, has established a European footprint by opening a new, dedicated office in London. The studio will be home to its own set of directors and talent, and will be lead by managing director/executive producer Isabella Parish. Parish is an animation/production veteran who spent well over a decade at global production company, Partizan.
During her lengthy stay at Partizan, Parish set up the production company’s animation arm, Partizan Lab, and served as head of animation. She’s worked with a long list of directors and studios, and collaborated with brands such as Evian, Samsung, Kellogg’s, Nokia, Coca-Cola, eBay and Starbucks. In her new role, Parish will oversee a growing roster of directors.
“We have a permanent home in an amazing space in Soho and it is really important for 1stAveMachine London to have its own independent culture.” says Serge Patzak, who is a partner in the company with Sam Penfield. “The London marketplace has been changing pretty radically, so now is the perfect time to tell the 1stAveMachine story as people are enthusiastic about seeing something new.”
