Synaptic VFX signs on for 'Hieroglyph'

BURBANK, CA — Synaptic VFX (www.synapticvfx.com) has signed on to serve as a key VFX vendor for the new Fox TV series Hieroglyph. The news follows the studio’s recent work on the first season of Fox’s Sleepy Hollow, for which they served as a primary VFX vendor.

British actor Max Brown stars in the 13-episode action-adventure drama series Hieroglyph, which is currently in production. The series is set in ancient Egypt, where fantasy and reality are intertwined. Brown plays Ambrose, a notorious thief who is plucked from prison to serve the Pharoah (played by Reece Ritchie).

In related news, Synaptic VFX has launched a branch office in New Orleans. The 2,200-square-foot suite of offices at 400 Poydras Tower is located in the heart of the city’s business district. The core team at Synaptic VFX-NOLA are state residents, and the new location will allow clients to take best advantage of Louisiana's tax incentive program.
