OAKDALE, MN — Corky Seeber, co-founder and president of Small Tree (www.small-tree.com)
, has retired from the company. Seeber founded Small Tree in 2003 with Steve Modica and three other partners, and the company established a solid reputation as a provider of robust and cost-effective Ethernet-based shared storage and networking systems for the post industry. He will continue to be a shareholder of Small Tree.
“More than a decade ago, we saw an opportunity to utilize our expertise in high performance computer design to extend the Apple platform’s capabilities by selling and supporting a complete range of Ethernet products for Mac OS X users,” says Seeber. “As I prepare to retire from Small Tree, I’m most proud of the company’s evolution over the past 10 years and am confident that it is well-positioned for future growth.”
Steve Modica will continue to serve as CTO. The company seeks to build upon its line of shared storage products, including the TitaniumZ, which is a high performance, capacity dense, dedicated video editing shared storage appliance with advanced file sharing capabilities that enables realtime collaboration.
“I’m grateful for having had an opportunity to work closely with Corky,” notes Modica. “We’ve learned a lot from each other these past years and I’m eager to continue to build upon the strong foundation we developed together.”
