LAS VEGAS — At the NAB show, ThinkBox Software (www.thinkboxsoftware.com) announced that it will soon release a plug-in of its Krakatoa volumetric particle rendering, manipulation and management toolkit for users of Maxon’s Cinema4D. The plug-in will be available starting next Monday, April 14, and will feature many of the tools available in the 3DS Max and Maya versions of the plug-in, which are already available. It will also feature some new effects that are unique to C4D.
The plug-in integrates with all major Cinema4D particle sources, including emitter, TP, X-Particles and Turbulence FD. It also supports C4D materials and textures, including camera mapping. Particles can be rendered as points or voxels.
Pricing is $595 and a render license will be available for $495.
