CAMBRIDGE, MA — Izotope, Inc. (www.izotope.com), is at the IBC show in Amsterdam with the next generation of its RX audio repair toolkit. The RX 4 and RX 4 Advanced both incorporate significant new workflow-optimizing functionality, leaving more time for creativity in audio and video editing.
Clip Gain is one new feature, which allows users to easily adjust and balance the volume of vocals and instruments in a non-destructive manner. The new Dialogue Denoiser helps reduce distracting background noise from dialogue and vocals in realtime. RX Connect helps streamline the editing process with a round-trip workflow compatible with industry-standard hosts.
The Leveler features automatically balances the volume of a mix. Ambience Match helps match the environment noise or room tone of two different audio recordings. EQ Match helps to ensure a consistent-sounding mix by matching multiple recordings with varying sonic profiles. And the Loudness function processes the whole program to comply with international industry standards and network-specific guidelines.
Both the RX 4 and RX 4 Advanced are available now. Special pricing through September 25th is $299 (regularly $349) for the RX 4 and $999 (regularly $1,199) for the RX 4 Advanced.
