Audio house Bam completes expansion

CHICAGO — Twenty-six-year-old Bam Studios (www.bamstudios.com) has completed a significant facility expansion at its 1 E. Erie location in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The company’s Studio C has been expanded with a new recording booth, bringing the number of fully-equipped post suites to three. The studio also completed work on Studio D, a new mixing suite. The new room was designed by Chicago acoustic firm Threshold Acoustics and by architect Howard Kagan. Main construction of the Studio C booth was completed in August.

Bam Studios’ president Brian Reed says the new additions will enhance the way the studio does business. “Flexibility and movement throughout the facility has been a key for us when it comes to accommodating a wide variety of projects and clientele throughout the day.”

"Having more studios allows us so much more freedom,” adds exective producer Jess Fike. “It will make finding a room for last minute jobs and busy holiday seasons so much easier. We love our clients and always strive to give them whatever they need. This new space allows us to do that in an even bigger way, which is very exciting."
