HOUSTON — Epic Software Group (http://epicsoftware.com) has opened a new production studio in Montgomery County, just outside the Woodlands (Houston), TX. The studio is part of the Epic Creative Co-Op, a facility dedicated to new media arts.
Made from upcycled cargo containers and recycled materials, the building has a very unique look. Facilities include a 1,200 square-foot studio, with 18-foot high ceilings, cyc walls, and a lighting truss that can be quickly raised and lowered.
"Our facility is filled with artists, animators, programmers, Web developers, writers, and video production people," notes Vic Cherubini, founder of the Epic Creative Co-Op.
Filmmakers are able to rent the studio on a half- or full-day basis.
