LONDON — Education provider Escape Studios has started a new company called Escape Technology (www.escape-technology.com), which will provide the media sector with a dedicated reseller that offers consultancy, sales and support of leading IT technologies. The company will focus on European studios within the CG industry while continuing to support the student and academic markets.
Escape Technology is based in the heart of London’s media and entertainment industry on Wardour Street in Soho. Mark Cass serves as managing director of the new venture and says it will allow the team “to focus on expanding existing relationships whilst leveraging our expertise and industry alliances to develop new opportunities. I’m delighted to say all the existing technology staff will be transferring to Escape Technology, joined by some new faces to enhance our capability.”
“Our relocation to the heart of the CG industry in Soho strengthens our reach, with both existing and new clients,” adds Richard McGuinness, director of business development at Escape Technology. “As a company that has a genuine understanding and appreciation of the demands of leading studios and production facilities Escape Technology is able to provide localised consultancy and support.”
Escape Studios will now concentrate fully on the continued growth of their classroom and online academies and recruitment services.
“I am very proud of Escape Technology's achievements over the last seven years,” notes Escape Studios’ CEO and founder Dom Davenport. “They have grown from nothing to become the UK's leading reseller for media and entertainment in just under seven years. This move will provide the focus and resources to fulfill Escape Technology's full potential."
