LOS ANGELES — Razr (www.razrmade.com) is a new creative company with outfits in New York and LA. The company offers an array of services cross-pollinating between advertising, fashion, culture, media, and technology.
The brainchild of founder Mitchel Elsen, Razr does not categorize itself as a production company, digital studio, or agency, but instead as a brand. Its directorial roster includes David Lodge, Felix & Paul, Husein Alicajic, Lucinda Schreiber, No Brain, Scott Otto Anderson, and That Go. Its talent has worked with international brands such as Adidas, Canon, Coca Cola, Cirque du Soleil, and Samsung; and with agencies that include JWT, Havas Worldwide, Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA Chiat/Day, and Sid Lee.
Elsen was co-founder of TRS, a successful production company in Belgium. Prior to building TRS, he worked in business development and production at a number of advertising agencies. In 2013, inspired by the possibilities for cross-genre work he saw at TRS, he left to develop Razr.
The company is represented by Michel Black Waxman and Marla Mossberg of MBW Represents on the West Coast, and Victoria Venantini for the East Coast.
