HOLLYWOOD — At Cine Gear Expo 2013, MTI Film (www.mtifilm.com) is demonstrating end-to-end workflow solutions for the latest generation of Sony digital camera systems based on its Cortex product line. The demos are being conducted at the Sony booth and feature MTI Film’s flagship product, Cortex:Control Dailies, which can be used for on-set review, dailies processing, media archiving and deliverables production. Cine Gear Expo 2013 is taking place May 31 through June 2 at The Studios at Paramount.
MTI Film’s Cortex line includes support for Sony’s popular digital cinema cameras, such as the F65, F55 and F5. Support for Sony’s recently-released XAVC recording format, used by the F5 and F55, is included in Cortex:Control Dailies DP, Pro, Studio and Ultimate editions, as well as in Stream, Pro, Studio and Ultimate editions of the transcoding solution Cortex:Convey. Support for Sony RAW and SR Master formats is included in all Cortex editions. MTI Film offers a free edition of Cortex:Control Dailies. In addition StreamViewer, is a new Cortex app that allows dailies media to be streamed directly to iPad tablets. It’s available for free via the Apple App Store.
