LONDON — Assimilate, a provider of DI and dailies digital workflow tools, plans to host a Scratch tour across Europe to demonstrate its advanced 4K workflow solutions. Artists can learn tips-and-tricks from experts for advanced dailies, through to creative 4K DI, including conform, color grading, compositing, and finishing.
A highlight of the tour will be the Scratch User Group meeting and BBQ at IBC 2013 in Amsterdam. Attendees will be able to see a live preview of Scratch V.8 and Scratch Lab V.8.
The tour comes to London on August 29 with a workshop and BBQ in Soho. Sessions will be held at 1:30pm to 3:30pm and 5:30pm to 8:30pm. To register, email events@xtfx.co.uk with your preferred session time.
On August 30, the company will co-sponsor the Visual Effects Society’s (VES) annual summer party. Workshop attendees are invited to join Assimilate at the BBQ The event is taking place from 6:00pm to 11:00 pm at XTFX in London.
On September 5, the tour moves to Paris for a series of workshops and a BBQ. The event will take place at DI-dea offices from 2:00pm until 11:30pm. To register and book a session, email bg@di-dea.com. The BBQ will take place at 8:00pm at the CineDeck car park.
