Adorama street fair to benefit cystic fibrosis

NEW YORK — Adorama (www.adorama.com), a photography, video, imaging and electronics retailer, will host the Third Annual Sunday Family Funday Street Fair on Sunday, June 23. The event will benefit the Boomer Esiason Foundation, which is dedicated to curing cystic fibrosis. The free event will take over Manhattan’s 18th Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, and will include food, games and technology.

Last year’s event attracted over 20,000 attendees, and this year’s fair promises to be bigger and better, with more rides, games, food and technology. Major camera and electronics brands confirmed for this year’s event include Adobe, Apple, Canon, Dell, Intel, Lexar, LG, Nikon, Samsung, Manfrotto, Panasonic, Pentax, Sandisk, Sony, Verizon, and Western Digital. The Adorama Learning Center, Adorama PIX, Rentals and Used will also all have booths to visit at the fair.

Football great Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton from WFAN’s “Boomer & Carton” radio program will be at the fair from 12pm to 2pm to sign autographs and take pictures. There will be carnival games, food and entertainment; special celebrity guests; a petting zoo and street performers; and prizes, raffles, contests and free games. Attendees can also take advantage of store discounts and exclusive fair specials.
