NEW YORK — On Thursday, May 9, Adorama (www.adorama.com) in Manhattan will host its first post-NAB event. Set to take place from 1pm to 8pm at its 55 West 17th Street location, the event will feature a selection of pro video gear manufacturers that exhibited at the recent NAB show in Las Vegas. Adorama is a large retailer of photography, imaging and electronics equipment.
Twenty vendors plan on participating, including Canon, Sony Electronics, Red, Blackmagic Design, JVC, Panasonic, TV Logic and NewTek. Each will have a collection of pro video products on display. The event is open to the public, and those who place orders of $1,000 or more on products from participating manufacturers will receive a $100 Adorama gift card that can used towards a future purchase.
