AMSTERDAM — Digital Vision (www.digitalvision.tv) and MTI Film (www.mtifilm.com) have formed a strategic technology partnership to develop a new digital dailies software solution. The system will be built upon Digital Vision’s Nucoda color grading system and the MTI’s Cortex:ControlDailies solution.
Nucoda Look with Cortex:ControlDailies will soon be available as a software package that offers an integrated set of features to enable users to seamlessly move the Cortex grades into the Nucoda Look for more precise and controlled near-set grading and preparation for the final grade. The package pushes the digital dailies process by offering a simple and powerful production process from set to final color grading.
In addition to their on-set dailies offering, MTI Film Los Angeles is a post facility that serves motion picture and television clients. The studio has multiple Nucoda Film Master systems and recently provided remote control dailies for Warner Horizon Televisions’ reboot of Dallas. It was during that project, where dailies were moved into Nucoda for final ultimate grading, that MTI Film and Digital Vision were inspired to form the new alliance.
