SAN FRANCISCO — Dolby (www.dolby.com) has revealed the first locations in the world selected to offer Atmos, its recently introduced theatrical audio technology. The Atmos platform offers audiences a sensory experience that surpasses that of other sound experiences available in movie theatres today, and also offers content creators powerful control of the placement and movement of sound within the theatre.
Theatres selected to be the first to show Disney/Pixar’s “Brave” in Dolby Atmos will be officially announced in mid-June.
