SECAUCUS, NJ — Arri’s (www.arricsc.com) new Alexa M is a flexible camera solution that consists of a separate camera head and body. The M is tailored toward action and aerial photography, tight corner shots and 3D productions.
The M model features the same sensor, image processing, build quality, efficient workflows and image quality of the popular Alexa.
The head and body of the M are connected via a fiber optic cable, which in a hybrid form can also be used for powering the head.The lightweight and compact front end offers multiple mounting points, while the body provides various options for recording images, sound and metadata, accommodating as many different workflows as the standard Alexa.
The M comes equipped with 120fps high-speed functionality as standard (in 16:9 but not 4:3).
