LOS ANGELES — Nominees for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards (www.emmys.com)were recently announced, calling attention to post processes such as animation, visual effects, editing, voiceovers, and custom scoring. Jimmy Kimmel will host the Awards, set to take place on Sunday, September 23 at Nokia Theatre LA Live in downtown Los Angeles. The 2012 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be presented on Saturday, September 15.
Nominees in the Visual Effects category include Pam Am, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead and Falling Skies. The Animated Program category includes nominees such as American Dad, The Simpsons, Futurama and Bob's Burgers.
