LONDON — Mill TV and Film won a BAFTA Craft Award for the studio’s work on Merlin Series 3, EP 2: The Tears of Uther Pendragon part 2. The studio was honored in the Visual Effects category by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. The ceremony took place on Sunday, May 8 at The Brewery in London.
“The team here are all obviously elated to win for their work on Merlin,” says Will Cohen, group director of TV and Film at The Mill. “This is our second BAFTA for Visual Effects and our fourth nomination in as many years. The standard of work in our category gets higher every year so it is a real honor for us to be recognized by BAFTA.”
The show is produced by BBC Productions and airs on BBC One.
