Iridas previews 3D/2D finishing system

LAS VEGAS — Iridas (www.iridas.com) is showing enhancements to its family of playback, conform and review systems, as well launching an entirely new stereo 3D production solution at NAB.

FrameCycler DDS 2011 is a new playback, conform and review system that extends existing stereoscopic capabilities. The system allows for parallax adjustments, mirroring and many automatic and manual setup options, as well as extensive Python scripting to simplify integration with production pipeline management systems.

SpeedGrade NX now offers increased render speed and improved color management. The solution features an update to the DualStream stereo toolset, along with native support for Arri’s Alexa camera. Support for Red’s Epic is in beta.

Iridas is also previewing Lumetri at NAB, a new 3D and 2D finishing system that will be available in the fall.
